We have relatively new Carlisles on a 5000 lb trailer and have had 2 blowouts this year. We keep the tires at 50 lbs pressure which is recommended on the sidewall. Searches show that Carlisles do tend to explode for other people too. We found Kumho trailer tires that have higher weight and speed ratings, but no testimonials from people who have them.
Does anyone have experience with Kumho trailer tires?
Anyone have another manufacturer recommendation??
most blowouts are not caused by the tires themselves . . .
but by too much weight on them, road hazards and inexperience!
take your fully loaded rig to a public scale (truck stops) and weigh it
sounds to me like you are overloaded
tires are rated according the load they are asked to carry, make sure of what you are asking your tires to do before you point your finger (and harsh words) at their maker
Do you have to buy a trailer and then buy a lot in the park? How do I rent a trailer that’s already in the park? I don’t even know where to begin with my questions because I know nothing about trailer parks? How much does it typically cost to live in a trailer park per month? How do you get running water, air conditioning, heat, gas, internet, etc.?

If you own a trailer they will rent you a space, some have permanent trailers they will rent or some trailer owners with rented spaces will rent you the whole package, I think some areas do sell the lots also where several trailers will basically congrugate like a trailer park. Contact local utility companies or the park office to set up utilities.

I did the whole thing with track lights and grey carpeting, but everybody told me it was too gay. The waterbed didn’t work out too well either. The whole back end of the trailer fell off the blocks and the front end is sticking way up. And its leaking now too.
Should I polish up the washers in the front yard. Women like washers.
