How do I tell my boss that someone is goofing off?
June 292010
My co-worker is sleeping on the job, talking on the cell phone, etc. We just got a lecture about gossiping. How do I tell my boss without her thinking I am gossiping. Should I tell my boss, or just let things evolve, and wait for this person to get caught?
Lay low. People like that tend to get themselves into trouble. Chances are, the boss already knows, he’s just collecting enough evidence to fire this guy.

Let things evolve. Chances are, your boss already knows and is just building a case.

You work in a place as an employee and the job scope, I think, does not involve informing the boss about other employees activities ( non work activities). So unless you want to polish the apple the best thing to do is just do your work,. Sometimes we should look in the mirror at ourselves too ?

While it may bother you, it really isn’t any of your business, unless their actions are negatively affecting your ability to get your job done. Let you boss find out for his or her self.

Tell your co-worker to quit screwing off and take ownership in your job. Productivity is everything if you all don’t produce the company will move to somewhere that will.
Let your boss here you tell the punk.
