On the other hand, they had someone else (can’t remember who right at the moment) play the first Doctor after Hartnell passed away. It’s unlikely, but it’s not impossible for them to do it somehow. Maybe at least in animation… Possibly CGI..? Part of me rebels at the thought of that, though…

This wouldnt be possible for a 10 Doctors episode, the first 3 have passed away, age has changed Tom Baker and we were shown what happened to Davidsons Doctor, as for Doctors 6, 7 and 8 im not sure where they stand but I do know Eccelston left Doctor Who so that he wouldnt be typecast as The Doctor forever but chose to be there to reintroduce the series.
