    Actually I was taught this by Syd Field; new characters are CAPITALISED; it’s all about catching the eye of … new characters. Tony’s got it spot on there. :-)

    You do not always full CAPS a character name when you first introduce them…only if they have lines of dialogue…and you also capitalize “Latin”…as for screenwriting action lines, this is the Helen Keller walkthrough
