Idiocracy (Movie Review)
May 232010
From Mike Judge, one of the creative minds who brought you Beavis and Butt-Head, King of the Hill and Office Space, comes an outrageous comedy that’ll make you think twice about the future of mankind.
Meet Joe Bowers (Luke Wilson). He’s not the sharpest tool in the shed. But when a goverment hibernation experiment goes awry, Bowers awakens in the year 2505 to find a society so dumbed-down by the mass commercialism and mindless TV programming that he’s become the smartest guy on the planet. Now it’s up to an average Joe to get human evolution back on track!
Filled with razor-sharp sarcasm and outrageous sight gags, Idiocracy will make you laugh out loud whether you’re an absolute genius or a complete idiot! – DVD CASE. [Movie Review]. {Cinema Reviews}.

Maya Rudolph in a funny scene from Idiocracy. The underrated 2005, Mike Judge film about what life will be like in 2505.
Inspired by the Nostalgia Critic & ThatGuyWithTheGlasses. ^_^
Joe (luke wilson) is disoriented, in a hospital, slacker Dr Lexus, MD (Justin Long), diagnoses him as simply “‘tarded” and “fucked up”. Dr Lexus panics on discovering that Joe has no barcode-tattoo on his left wrist, and so cannot be scanned for automatic debit payment from his bank account. Having noticed that the date of a magazine he finds on the doctor’s desk (Hot Naked Chicks and World Report, 3 March 2505) is the same date indicated on his bill, Joe finally grasps that 500 years have passed since the Army put him in stasis.
Idiocracy. “I like money.”
Welcome to Costco – I love you. That guy is hilarious!
