Ex; the water in my toilet develops a "film" when left alone… the same thing happens when i pour a glass of water. What causes this? Is it safe? Does my body absorb whatever this is?

It’s dust and particulate matter in the air.

   ew. Sounds like oil? I’d use bottled water for drinking and cooking until it gets checked out.
