@bimbomtheclown I know what you mean. Avatar’s CG is perhaps the most realistic with extreme detail, but D9’s CG just felt more natural to me. But I think it might actually come down to the art direction for both movies, Avatar had more fantastical elements in it where you MUST shut your brain off and suspend disbelief (blue HUMANS on another planet? Planet almost exactly like Earth rainforest?) while D9 was more gritty, the alien machinery for example looked so believable, more realistic to me
