What are the advantages of living in a trailer?

If you’ve lived in a trailer before could you tell me some of the advantages of it? Just some benefits. And what’s more, could you tell me if you were happy while living in a trailer? I always hear people talk down about them, but I see nothing wrong with them. So, if you’ve lived in one before, can you prove what people say wrong?

I’m living in one now, and its advantage is that it was cheaper than a conventional house. With a conventional house on it, the lovely piece of land I have would have been out of my price range. Other than that, the trailer is just a place to live.

    I live in northern texas near dallas… and we get alot of storms and tornados in that area…. the only way i would feel ok with living in a trailer here is if i had it properly secured and a storm shelter in place for an emergency… Other than that, you can get a really good deal on a large size trailer as opposed to a house of the same square footage… and dont worry what others might think of you owning a "trailer" as long as your happy and it suits your needs. good luck!

    negatives;
    1)shared public bathrooms/laundries can be awful
    2) you have to be organised
    3) you have to be really really neat all the time
    4) some parks don’t have paved roads so it can get muddy/dusty
    5)no pets that’s the hardest
    6) you cant slob around outside in your underwear (or less)
    7) if there is more than one of you, it can be hard to share such a small space
